Are you an experienced social worker with a knack for handling complex cases, mentoring colleagues, and navigating the twists and turns of hospital discharge planning? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same? If so, we need YOU in our Hospital Social Work Team!

We are on the hunt for an Advanced Practitioner who can juggle high-level casework, lead reflective supervision, and provide expert guidance to our dynamic team. You’ll be the go-to person for complex safeguarding decisions, legal frameworks, and multi-agency coordination. Plus, you’ll get to play a key role in shaping services, mentoring students, and even championing specialist areas like Section 117 aftercare.

What we need from you:

• A qualified social worker with relevant experience in hospital social work or a similar fast-paced setting.
• A deep understanding of safeguarding, mental capacity, and Care Act compliance.
• The ability to balance leadership and hands-on casework, keeping the team motivated and practice-focused.
• A talent for mentoring and developing others—whether that’s through supervision, training, or just being a brilliant role model.
• Strong skills in multi-agency working—we liaise across multiple hospitals, councils, and health trusts.
