The award-winning Lincolnshire Music Service are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our team to support our day-to-day business operations.
About the Role
Lincolnshire Music Service, the lead organisation of the Lincolnshire Music Education Hub, is responsible for supporting, delivering and enabling high quality music education for children and young people across the county. The Hub programme, led by Arts Council England on behalf of the Department for Education, funds a network of 43 Hub partnerships which cover every area of England.
Our Business Manager will be:
- Responsible for the strategic planning aspects, including all financial implications, ensuring Lincolnshire Music Service makes the best possible use of resources available.
- The lead expert on all commercial and operational aspects of the business managing such resources whilst achieving quality and best value whilst ensuring good procurement practice
- Responsible for all the majority of the disciplines of finance reporting to Lincolnshire County Council and other key funders such as Arts Council England.

About You
You will need knowledge of financial management, accounting, budgeting, and monitoring principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of financial strategy, regulations, and procedures, along with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior council officers and external organisations. Proficiency in IT, including corporate finance systems and Excel, and strong leadership abilities.
