Be part of something big. Help shape the future of property services at LCC.
Are you a CAFM expert ready for a new challenge? Do you want to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking Property team committed to delivering best value and excellence?
We’re looking for a CAFM System Administrator to join our Corporate Property team here at Lincolnshire County Council – one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious county councils.
Why this role? Why now?
It’s a brilliant time to join us. We’ve recently launched a brand-new CAFM system – and this is your chance to truly make it your own. You’ll play a leading role in shaping how the system is configured, used, and continuously improved, leaving your mark on a vital platform that underpins our entire property estate. Your input will directly influence how over 1,000 buildings and 6,675 hectares of farmland are managed – from reactive maintenance to long-term asset planning.
What you’ll be doing
As our principal CAFM System Administrator, you’ll be the go-to person for everything related to our system. You’ll ensure the data is robust and maintained to high standards, lead on system improvements, and act as a key interface between Corporate Property and wider stakeholders across the Council. Expect to:
Manage user access, permissions and reporting
Lead on the continuous development of the system
Ensure accurate capture of compliance, PPM, and reactive maintenance records
Deliver training and guidance to users at all levels
Provide performance and MI reporting, supporting better strategic decisions
What we’re looking for
We’re after someone with:
Proven experience in administering and developing CAFM systems
+5 years’ experience within a Property or Facilities Management environment
Solid understanding of statutory compliance and industry best practices
Confidence with SQL and database systems
Great communication skills – you're comfortable training and influencing others
Experience producing detailed process documentation
A natural inclination for problem-solving and continuous improvement
Project management experience and a flair for building strong relationships will also serve you well in this role
What’s in it for you?
A rare opportunity to mould and shape a brand-new system from the ground up
A culture that supports your development and values your expertise
Hybrid working and flexible hours that support a healthy work-life balance
Generous holiday entitlement plus the option to buy more
Career progression opportunities within one of the UK’s largest councils
Contributory pension scheme and a comprehensive benefits package
