We are seeking an exceptional leader to become its next Chief Executive, guiding the authority through local government reorganisation, whilst delivering high quality services to our residents.
About the Role
As Chief Executive, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership across all council services, ensuring high performance and value for money.
- Champion innovation and sustainability in public service delivery.
- Work closely with elected members, partners, and communities to deliver the Council’s vision.
- Lead a talented and committed workforce, through the Council’s values and behaviour
- Ensure the Council delivers financially sustainable services.
What We’re Looking For

- Has a proven track record of achievement as an executive director in local government and/or a large private organisation.
- Has evidence of academic and professional development in and beyond their area of expertise.
- Understands the infrastructure, regulation, pressures, challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
- Can articulate their plan for financial balance.
- Can inspire trust, drive change, and deliver results.
- Is passionate about making a difference for the people of Lincolnshire.

A Smarter Working Employer
We have embraced new ways of working and hybrid working will be a feature of this role. You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary. Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process.
