 Do you have a passion for supporting people into employment?  

We are seeking two Job Coach Team Managers.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team, supporting people of working age who have a learning disability, autism and young adults leaving care, get into paid employment.

 

Working across the County of Lincolnshire, we’re looking for two experienced leaders who can establish and deliver this exciting new programme, with the drive for positive change which will ultimately transforms lives by helping people get into paid work. Your employment expertise, knowledge of employment support approaches and ideally a track record of securing job placements and building employer relationships will be vital

 

You will develop and maintain a range of relationships and network of employers across the County, lead and inspire the team to work alongside people drawing on their strengths, interests and abilities to coach them into paid employment

 

About you 

You will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership and management skills, committed to working collaboratively across sectors, teams and departments. You will need to be self-motivated, with the energy and drive to deliver results whilst establishing this new team.

Key to success in this role will include:

  • Excellence in building relationships with adults with learning disabilities, autism, their families, support networks, employers, professionals, and senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of employment support approaches including job coaching and supported employment methodologies. 
  • Service development, data management, project management and delivery expertise.
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits relating to employment and assistive technology that supports workplace inclusion 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including performance management and constructive challenge resolution
  • Track record of managing and motivating dispersed team to deliver against targets
  • Car driver and access to own vehicle is essential

We have embraced new ways of working and hybrid working will be a feature of this role. You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary.  Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process.

Our technology platform and equipment is very good enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We require that you have in place good connectivity, and we will discuss during the recruitment process if support with this is needed.

Fluency Duty
