Are you a natural problem-solver with a people-first attitude and a knack for IT systems?

Join Lincolnshire County Council as a Corporate Systems Service Desk Assistant, where you’ll be the first point of contact for users needing support on our internal business systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great customer service skills who enjoys working collaboratively and thrives on delivering solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as front-line support for our Corporate Systems Service Desk – handling phone and portal-based queries

  • Investigating and resolving issues, or escalating them to the appropriate team with all necessary detail

  • Maintaining accurate records of tickets, resolutions, and common issues

  • Assisting with data cleansing and upholding system integrity

  • Contributing to ongoing service improvements and supporting our transformation agenda

What we're looking for:

  • Strong communication skills - confident speaking with colleagues and customers at all levels

  • A methodical approach with great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Proactive team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision

  • Good IT skills, including confident use of Excel

  • Ideally, experience using Mosaic (but not essential)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in their customer service, and wants to grow their technical knowledge in a supportive team.
