Ready to lead a high-performing estates service and shape how public assets are managed?
We’re looking for an experienced Estates Team Leader to lead our Estates, Property Records and Property Management teams, delivering strategic property advice across a large and diverse county-wide portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
Leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team of property professionals
Overseeing disposals, acquisitions, valuations and estate management activity
Managing budgets, resources and financial performance
Ensuring professional and statutory compliance (RICS, CIPFA, IFRS)
Advising senior leaders and elected members on key property decisions
Acting as the Council’s senior valuation lead
This is a senior, influential role with visibility, responsibility and the chance to make a lasting impact.

MRICS with significant post-qualification experience
Proven leadership in estates, valuation or property management
Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
