Are you experienced in facilities management and ready for a new challenge that blends operational oversight with strategic service delivery?
We're looking for a proactive Facilities Management Officer to join our friendly and professional Corporate Property team at Lincolnshire County Council. Following an internal promotion, this is a great opportunity to step into a busy and varied role with influence across more than 600 buildings county-wide.
Working closely with our senior leaders, contractors, and building users, you'll help monitor and manage our outsourced property services contract—ensuring our sites remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as the ‘intelligent client’, liaising between the Council and our property services supplier
- Supporting the delivery of hard and soft FM services, including contract performance monitoring
- Providing technical support on health and safety, compliance, and statutory responsibilities
- Commissioning services and contributing to continuous improvement and budget planning
- Working with service users to ensure buildings align with operational need and strategy
What we’re looking for:
- A solid background in facilities or property management
- Experience managing and monitoring contractors and KPIs
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A good understanding of H&S and property compliance
- Ideally, some experience with budget and contract management
