Inward Investment Manager
Greater Lincolnshire is ambitious about its future growth, and attracting new investment is central to that mission. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Inward Investment Manager to help position the area as a leading destination for national and international investors.
About the Role
You will play a key role in developing and delivering Greater Lincolnshire’s Inward Investment Strategy, working closely with the Mayor, CCA leadership, local authorities, businesses, and government partners. You will help shape compelling investment propositions, manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, and promote Lincolnshire through targeted engagement and trade activity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the Greater Lincolnshire Inward Investment Strategy.
Build and manage an investment pipeline aligned with regional priorities.
Promote Greater Lincolnshire through trade missions, market engagement, and FDI activity.
Manage investment enquiries from initial contact through to delivery.
Develop evidence‑based investment cases and contribute to a unified “single front door” for investors.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, DBT, OFI, major investors, and government departments.
Ensure investment activity supports inclusive economic growth and delivers value for money.
About You
You will bring strong commercial awareness, excellent relationship‑building skills, and experience working with investors, businesses, or economic development partners. You’ll be confident engaging with senior stakeholders, able to translate opportunities into clear propositions, and motivated by helping to shape the economic future of Greater Lincolnshire. You will have significant experience of leading inward investment activities.
Employer
Please note, this role is with the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA), not with Lincolnshire County Council.
Location and travel
The role will be based on-site in Lincoln, with occasional travel across Greater Lincolnshire and to partner locations.
