Job Title: Job Coach

Working Pattern: One full-time post and two part-time posts (18.5 hours per week), flexible working required

Salary: £27,254 - £30,024 Pay Award Pending

Location: InspireU, various locations across Lincolnshire, hybrid working with a nominated contractual base

Due to an expansion of our Careers team, we have a number of exciting opportunities to join the team at InspireU as Job Coaches, supporting learners across our sites in Lincolnshire. We have one full time position and two part time positions (18.5 hrs).

Due to recent changes in immigration law in the UK we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements.

About the Role

At InspireU, we support young people aged 16–24 with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) to develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to move into employment and adulthood.

As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting learners to access and succeed within their work experience placements including on our Supported Internship programme. Working closely with the Deputy Career Leaders and wider team, you will provide tailored, person-centred support to help each individual achieve their full potential.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work both on-site and out in the community, supporting learners in real workplace environments such as retail, engineering, cleaning and other sectors.

 About You

Strong communicators with the ability to build trust and rapport

Organised, with the ability to manage their own workload and diary

Creative problem-solvers who can support learners to overcome barriers in the workplace

Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion

 

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

 

InspireU operates across seven sites in Lincolnshire; flexibility to support at different locations may be required

You will be expected to work flexibly, including occasional unsociable hours depending on placement needs

Ongoing training and professional development opportunities will be provided

We have embraced new ways of working and hybrid working will be a feature of this role. You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary.  Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process.

Our technology platform and equipment is very good enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We require that you have in place good connectivity, and we will discuss during the recruitment process if support with this is needed.
