About us
The People Administration Team process employee data including, but is not limited to, new starters, internal movers, contractual changes, variable deductions and payments and leavers.
We process and maintain HR Admin records and data, ensuring all documentation, data and information is processed in accordance with all relevant terms and conditions of council policies and statutory regulations.
The team ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines are met. We deliver a high quality, customer focused service, responding to and meeting a range of fluctuating pressures and daily demands. We act as first point of contact for Lincolnshire County Council employees.
This position is in the Schools People Administration Team, working alongside our Fire and Corporate People Administration Teams, linking our processes with the Payroll and Pension Teams.
About you
You will have an aptitude for learning, problem solving and continuous improvement. You will demonstrate the ability to process varied People Administration tasks on a daily basis.
You will be able to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines, have a good eye for detail, be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and adopt a proactive approach to any work assigned.
You will have minimum of 4 passes at grade 5 or above at GCSE level (or equivalent) or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, be proficient in using Microsoft Windows and Office software and have experience working in a busy Administration role/team. Previous experience of working within the Public Sector office environment is desirable but not essential.
