Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting position available. We have a full-time opportunity to join the Economic Development team as a Project Support Assistant.
The role is primarily focussed on supporting the Skills Bootcamps programme and the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub.
This role is an exciting opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience in Economic Development. You will work across two fast-paced delivery programmes that are growing rapidly. The ideal candidate would have strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail. Some experience working with schools, colleges, training providers and/or employer networks would be beneficial but not essential.
About the role
This role plays an integral part in the day-to-day operations of the Careers Hub and Skills Bootcamps programmes. Both programmes support networks of training providers, schools, colleges, and local employers, as well as Greater Lincolnshire residents.

This role offers hybrid working. Attendance at the Sleaford office is required at least once a week, and occasionally at the Lincoln office. Additional in-person meetings or events will take place across Greater Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire County Council supports flexible working to promote a healthy work-life balance.
The Project Support Assistant will:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams
- Process and check documents for accuracy
- Input data using spreadsheets on a regular basis
- Input data using digital platforms on a regular basis (training provided).
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials
- Schedule meetings, take notes where appropriate, and follow up on actions
- Communicate with external partners including Careers Leaders, Training Providers and employers
- Support budget monitoring processes
About you
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in a project support or administrative role
- An interest in Careers Education, Adult Skills and Economic Development
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
