Job Introduction
Due to career development a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pupil Reintegration Team, and we are currently seeking to appoint a Pupil Reintegration Casework Supervisor. As a team we pride ourselves on staff retention, we are looking for someone to join the team who can provide line management for our team of Pupil Reintegration Caseworkers, in the effective delivery of 'Inclusive Lincolnshire' a strategy that is committed to working collaboratively with schools and multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for children and young people at risk of exclusion from school and/or who are experiencing social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties. This role will support a designated geographical area across the south of the county, however you may be asked to provide support to cover all areas of Lincolnshire at times.
About the Role
No two days are the same in this job; you will contribute towards the excellent work carried out by the team that proactively supports schools, children and young people and other colleagues. The position is critical in supporting Caseworkers in delivering the Inclusive Lincolnshire strategy. The role is varied and challenging and you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills through training and development. The role comes with line management responsibilities, for a team of Caseworkers and a Casework Assistant across the south of the county. Working within our highly experienced team the role offers an opportunity to support the wider team to make a difference to children and young people's lives. Through developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with service users, you will contribute to a conscientious culture of effective service delivery.

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Headteachers, governors, Children's Services colleagues, parents and a range of professionals.
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce a wide range of non-standard written communications.
- Empathy and the ability to deal with sensitive emotive issues effectively
- Ability to use initiative and be resourceful.
- Effective time management and prioritisation.
- Highly developed IT skills and experience of using Microsoft Office and database systems
- You will need to be resilient and understand the importance of diversity and have a clear focus on safeguarding all young people
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics
- You must be able to drive and have the flexibility to work outside of core hours
