Job Title: Relief Health Visitor
Salary: Grade 9 (£40,444 - £44,253 full-time equivalent, per annum)
Working Pattern: Relief role, variable hours
Location: Lincolnshire (countywide/Hybrid)

We are seeking to recruit motivated practitioners with initiative and drive who are keen to contribute to the further development of our integrated children's health service. The Children's Health Team work within Lincolnshire County Council very closely with Children's Services (Children's Centres, Early Help, Social Care and Family Hubs) and other agencies. Our aim is to improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities for children, young people and their families in our care. Due to our integrated ways of working, we are able to provide a comprehensive package of care to ensure that our children are able to achieve their full potential. We deliver our service in different environments such as within the home, children’s centres and schools.
There are vacancies for Relief Health Visitors across the county of Lincolnshire.
About you
We are looking for enthusiastic and forward-thinking practitioners who have ideally practised as a Health Visitor within the last three years due to this being relief Health Visitor posts. You will be committed to innovation, open to new ways of working, and motivated by change. As a passionate public health advocate, you will be able to demonstrate recent, effective delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
You will need to have the ability to work autonomously and as part of an integrated skill mix team.
You need to have excellent communication skills and experience of working in partnership across organisational boundaries.
You will need experience and knowledge of safeguarding children and families.
This role involves regular travel to a range of locations, including home visits, children’s centres and family hubs, some of which may not be easily accessible by public transport. The ability to travel to these locations as required is an essential part of the role.
