Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Community & Intervention Worker to join our Future4Me Team.

What you'll be doing - Senior Community & Intervention Worker

The role of Senior Community & Intervention Worker is to provide day-to-day leadership, advice and guidance, and to develop and supervise a team of Community Sports Workers in providing focussed interventions with children, young people and communities. The successful candidate will support the development of an exciting new project, working closely with professionals from a range of agencies to support children and young people in their communities while addressing antisocial behaviour

What we're looking for

  • A relevant professional qualification in youth work or community sports development/coaching or another relevant field at level 3 or above
  • Nationally recognised coaching qualification(s)
  • Relevant practice experience in Children's services or similar field
  • An understanding of the importance of good people management, as well as experience supporting, guiding and mentoring others
  • Knowledge/ understanding of the keys issues impacting young people, adolescent risk-taking behaviour and trauma-informed approaches
  • Ability to manage performance, demonstrating the achievement of key outcomes to satisfy a range of stakeholders and commissioners

Fluency Duty
