Lincolnshire County Council’s Corporate Property team is seeking a motivated and experienced Facilities Management professional to join us as our new Senior Facilities Manager - Compliance.
This is a great opportunity to shape the delivery of compliance and safety across a large, varied property portfolio – ensuring our estate continues to support essential services across the county, including schools, fire stations, and care facilities.
About the Role
As Senior Facilities Manager (Compliance), you will lead on all aspects of property compliance across LCC’s corporate estate, acting as subject matter expert for key areas including gas, water, electrical safety, asbestos, and fire safety. You’ll manage a small team and oversee the delivery of compliance-related works through external contractors, operating in an intelligent client capacity.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance across the estate, working within Health and Safety legislation
Managing audit programmes and follow-up actions
Monitoring service delivery performance from third-party suppliers
Championing a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and value for money
You’ll also provide professional advice and assurance to senior stakeholders, including internal services, schools, and partner organisations.
What We’re Looking For
We're seeking someone with:
Proven experience in Facilities or Property Management with a strong compliance focus
A relevant professional qualification and/or membership of IWFM or similar
Knowledge of risk management, contractor performance, and industry legislation
Excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to influence across levels
Experience delivering change and innovation within FM services
