Two opportunities have arisen for fixed term Senior Family Help Workers for Future4Me. One based in North Kesteven 12-month fixed term, and one based in East Lindsey 9-month fixed term.

About the role:
The Senior Family Help Worker is responsible for the day-to-day line management of Family Help Workers and Youth Offending Workers. This involves regular supervision, allocation of work, ensuring quality assessments and plans, and support practitioners to deliver targeted interventions with young people, children and their families who are considered at risk of poor outcomes. You will be required to travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role and there may be some element of evening and weekend work where cases require it. This can be a demanding role however one that brings great job satisfaction.
About the Team:
Future4Me launched Countywide in February 2019 and brought together the Council's core offer to adolescents by building on the Youth Offending Team, Youth Hub and Family Help. Focusing on supporting young people aged 14-18, we have a dedicated team with a focus on youth housing, diversion for youth justice, child exploitation and community interventions as well as our Complex Health Team. Future4Me operates on a County-wide basis and focuses on multi-agency working, using Trauma Informed Practice and Restorative Principles to deliver a package of support. The Family Help Team work with children and young people both short and long term within the Team Around the Family (TAF), Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Children In Care (CIC) arenas.
What we are looking for:
• Diploma or equivalent level 4 qualification in relevant subject for working with children, young people and families.
• Or a professional qualification in Youth Work (JNC recognised) or Social Work.
• Or a Diploma/Qualification in Careers Guidance or level 4 in guidance.
• An understanding of the importance of good people management, as well as experience supporting, guiding and mentoring others.
• Knowledge/ Understanding of child development. adolescent risk-taking behaviour and trauma -informed approaches.
• Collaborative committed and motivated, you're a leader who enjoys working with a diverse range of people.
