The role involves delivering advice across various areas, including budget setting and monitoring, year-end processes and account closure, compliance with financial regulations, and the completion of statutory returns.

As a Senior Finance Technician in either our Place or Children’s Services Finance Team, you will be providing senior Financial Services staff, Budget Managers and Spend Managers with effective financial planning and performance management across revenue and capital budgets, to develop comprehensive and high-quality financial intelligence to underpin decision making.
Play a vital role in Financial Services by supporting directorates, promoting financial sustainability through effective financial planning and monitoring, supporting informed decision-making through high-quality financial insight, advice, and guidance. Location
The team work on a hybrid basis, with, on average, two days of the week spent connecting in the office and three days of the week home based. This role would be expected to work within these arrangements.
