Level 1 Social Worker – Front Door Team ( south)

Salary:  G8 SCP21 £35,412- £39,152
Location: South of the County – Base Stamford 
 

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Level 1 Social Worker to join our Front Door (Lincolnshire Conversation) Team in the south of the county.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the front door of our service, where you will play a key role in supporting individuals and families at the earliest point of contact. You will gather information, assess need and risk, and ensure people receive the right support at the right time, with a strong focus on early intervention and prevention.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will engage with members of the public, professionals, and partner agencies. You will use your professional judgement to make informed decisions, provide advice and guidance, and identify appropriate pathways to support independence and wellbeing.

As part of this role, you will also have opportunities to engage with local communities through events and outreach activity. You will provide advice and guidance to the public, working alongside partner organisations to maximise opportunities for early support and prevention

About you

You will:

  • Hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England (or eligible to register)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to strength-based, person-centred practice
  • Awareness of the Care Act 2014 and other legislations
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Be able to manage competing demands and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Be committed to promoting independence, wellbeing, and safeguarding

About the team

The Front Door (Lincolnshire Conversation) Team is proud to provide a high-quality first point of contact service, ensuring timely, person-centred support for individuals and those who care for them.

Our experienced and dedicated team brings a broad range of knowledge and clinical skills, enabling us to respond effectively to a wide variety of needs. We work in a supportive and collaborative way, with each team member contributing their own strengths, professional expertise, and personal qualities.

The team is based across four sites in the south of the county—Sleaford, Spalding, Stamford, and Grantham—working together to deliver accessible and responsive care to our local communities.

This post will be based in our Stamford office.
