Are you an experienced Social Worker driven to achieve the best outcomes for children and families? Do you value restorative, strengths‑based practice? If so, Lincolnshire County Council could be exactly where you belong.
We’re looking for Social Workers to join our East Lindsey FAST Teams, based in the market towns of Louth and Horncastle.
- Louth blends historic charm, independent shops and a vibrant food scene, all set at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
- Horncastle, also on the edge of the Wolds, offers beautiful countryside, scenic walking and cycling routes, and easy access to both Lincoln and the coast.
Why Lincolnshire?
From peaceful countryside villages to the stunning Lincolnshire coastline, East Lindsey offers a refreshing escape from the pressures of city life - without losing the sense of community, activity, or connection. With housing far more affordable than in many other parts of the UK, you can enjoy more space, greater stability, and real room to breathe.
With a hybrid pattern of three days on site and flexible options like a nine‑day fortnight, it’s easier to build a work–life balance that genuinely works for you.
Lincolnshire County Council is proud to have one of the strongest Children’s Services in the country, recognised with an Outstanding Ofsted rating that we have successfully maintained. Our teams are committed, child‑centred and continually improving.
Our practice model, Signs of Safety, is rooted in restorative practice - empowering families by recognising their strengths, networks and voices. The child is at the centre of every plan we create.
