We are looking for the right candidate to join our Stay Safe Team to support the delivery of prevention education to children and young people across Lincolnshire, for the next academic year.
About The Role
The Stay Safe Officer will support the delivery of prevention messages to students from Foundation to Key Stage 5 across Lincolnshire. They will deliver online safety and healthy relationship workshops as part of the Stay Safe Partnership.
As the role requires travel across the county delivering training in Lincolnshire education provisions, a full clean driver’s licence is an essential requirement of the role. Work mileage will be paid.

About The Team
The successful applicant will sit under the Stay Safe Team, the educational arm of LCC's Community Safety department.
The Stay Safe Team have worked to provide preventative education in schools across Lincolnshire since 2015. The growing team is innovative and creative with aspirations of reaching more children and young people with safety messages. The team deliver evidence based prevention based on Lincolnshire needs. All secondary provisions are provided with 2 free Stay Safe Day's covering key education messages such as Substance Misuse, Domestic Abuse, Anti-Social Behaviour, County Lines, Online Safety, Road and Fire Safety are part of the Stay Safe education.
Included in the Stay Safe days are partners from Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Partnership, Horizon (Substance Misuse Service), Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and Lincolnshire County Council.
Stay Safe Days are being consistently delivered to over 90% of secondary schools in the county; we provide Healthy Relationships and Online Safety workshops within primary schools also. Last year our team spoke to 44,000 students aged 5-18.
Alongside these core areas of our work we currently provide targeted sessions to schools that require reactive intervention and produce online preventative videos and materials for EYFS, primary, secondary, SEND and parents.
