We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Transport Lead within the new Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority
We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Transport Lead to join the new Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the evolution, prioritisation, and delivery of our transport strategy for Greater Lincolnshire, shaping our shared transport future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of our transport strategy.
- Collaborate with the Mayor, Council leaders, Place Directors, and senior leaders in the Department for Transport (DFT).
- Drive the creation of a robust transport authority and build a capable team to achieve our ambitious goals.
- Facilitate and deliver the Local Transport Agenda through effective policies, strategies, and plans.
- Prepare for the establishment of a transport authority.
- Develop innovative solutions and quick wins for Transport for Greater Lincolnshire.
- Advocate for Greater Lincolnshire at Midlands Connect, Transport for North, and other strategic bodies such as National Highways and Great British Railways.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in transport, with practical experience in transport analysis and appraisal.
- Proven track record of effective leadership, strategic thinking, and change management.
- Excellent skills in scheme and project design and delivery.
