We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the public, colleagues, and third-party partners and thrives in a dynamic environment where operational needs can change regularly. This role offers a varied and challenging workload within Waste Services, providing the opportunity to collaborate and ensure the service operates to a high standard. About the team

You will be required to work across multiple teams in Waste Services, particularly within the Operational and Performance teams.

The Operational team consists of Supervisors and Operatives that play a critical role in providing Waste Disposal Services at a network of Waste Transfer Stations and Household Waste Recycling Centres across the county of Lincolnshire.

The Performance and Improvement team consists of Officers that implement waste and recycling initiatives and lead on their role out by engaging with the public to help inform and assist them in how to comply with said initiatives.

The successful applicant will become part of a bigger Waste Services Team which is strongly driven to achieve environmental improvements in an ever-growing sector.

About you

You will become an expert in supporting the different teams across Waste Services, being to able to successfully integrate and adapt to work in each of these teams.

You will enjoy working with a changeable workload and demonstrate flexibility to work across different locations across Lincolnshire depending upon operational requirements. You will be a team player and boast excellent communication skills, with a passion for amazing customer service with a solutions based approach. Responsible for maintaining records and handling data it is essential you have a keen eye for detail. You will be reactive to the needs of the service, and have experience of dealing with site maintenance and be able to identify site problems as early as possible.

Please be aware the role is required to manually handle material when loading vehicles for sampling and waste collection and also assisting the public at Recycling Centres so a certain level of physical fitness is required.

Applicants must have a full clean driving license and access to a vehicle. A vehicle may also be provided by LCC
