An exciting position has become available for an Out of Hours Winter and Emergency Duty Officer to join our small, friendly team within the Highways area of the Council. You will be dealing with Highways Emergencies and Winter gritting as a first response during out of hours.
The Network Resilience team deal with organising response to County Wide emergencies on Lincolnshire’s Highway Network as well as overseeing Winter and Severe Weather response. The Team ensures that Highways Emergency incidents are responded to directly and instructing Maintenance gangs to undertake the work. We act as a first response and contact for Highways emergencies. As such, this position covers Highways Response to emergencies on the network out of office working hours and works on a revolving 5 week rota to cover the shifts .
