The role

As a Corporate Property Asset Advisor you will be part of a small team aiding in the delivery of the Corporate Property Strategy. You'll ensure that we have the right property in the right place at the right time to deliver Lincolnshire County Council’s services and meet the needs of Lincolnshire’s communities.

That can mean many things including the building of a new school, the extension and modernisation of a Fire station, the provision of office accommodation and much more. Asset Advisors understand service requirements and assess the suitability of properties, working to develop business cases to deliver the infrastructure required. We have dedicated teams working on Schools and Service properties and have one vacancy within each team.

We're looking for candidates with;

You will need to manage your own workload, with an ability to translate complex data into practical solutions.

It's also imperative that you have excellent interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, able to engage and work with a broad range of stakeholders, with an understanding of the nuances of working in a political environment.

Along with a competitive salary we are offering;

  • A Contributory pension
  • Comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes and cycle to work
  • Sodexo Discounts and Benefits Scheme
  • Flexible working policies
  • Career progression opportunities
  • A generous leave entitlement with the option to buy more

Further details can be found in our rewards and benefits brochure

Please note this role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area and therefore a valid driving licence and use of a car is required.

Role 1 within the Service Asset Management team is based in Lincoln with countywide travel. This is a hybrid role with office attendance as needed, usually 1-2 days per week.

Role 2 within the Schools Asset Management team is based in Lincoln and is hybrid with office attendance as needed but will also have a portfolio of schools to travel to in one area of the county. This area will be agreed with the successful candidate and the rest of the team.
