Job Introduction
We are seeking Relief Visitor Experience Officers to become part of our team working in Lincolnshire County Council's Cultural Service. We want people who will champion our vision for delivering an unforgettable visitor experience, relish meeting new people and interacting with visitors from all over the world.
Relief Visitor Experience Officers provide cover for permanent staff during annual leave, sickness or training. Please note that the position is on an ‘As and When’ basis – with no set working pattern and no guaranteed hours. You may be requested to work Saturdays, Sundays along with Bank Holidays and occasional evenings.
Our impressive sites include Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Museum, Usher Art Gallery, Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight visitor centre and Lincolnshire Archives.
These sites are truly unique places and working within our great teams we are looking for people who want to help us deliver a brilliant day out to our visitors. You'll cover all aspects of the operation in each of the sites from welcoming visitors, retail and interpreting history.
Al Lincoln Castle some of our relief Visitor Experience Officer's (VEO's) support the Buildings and Grounds team in maintaining the site's cleanliness and presentation. If this aligns with your strengths, please indicate it on your application form.
