£29,093 - £31,586 | Full Time - 37 hours per week | Permanent
Location: Lincoln (hybrid working)

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated legal professional to join our well-established Property Team within Legal Services Lincolnshire. As a Senior Legal Officer, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality legal services across a varied public sector client base - including the County Council, District Councils and other public bodies.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse caseload involving property transactions and infrastructure matters. From leases and right-to-buy cases through to deeds of grant and other land transactions, this is a broad and engaging legal role where no two days are the same.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll manage your own caseload of property-related legal matters including:
- Drafting and completing commercial leases
- Administering deferred payment agreements and legal charges relating to care provision
- Supporting residential property sales (including right to buy) and occasional acquisitions
- Assisting with deeds of grant and infrastructure leases (e.g. sub-stations, telecoms)
- Conducting due diligence, Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
- Working closely with Legal Officers and Lawyers on complex or high-value matters
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have a solid foundation in property law, with either formal legal qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience. We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience handling conveyancing or land law matters
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with a range of clients
- Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing competing priorities
- A flexible, collaborative approach to working both independently and within a team
