We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Supervisor to join the Social Care Screening Team.

As a Practice Supervisor in the Integrated Front Door Team, you’ll manage, guide and supervise a team of Advanced Practitioners in the county wide screening team. You'll work alongside your LCC colleagues and partner agencies in supporting the decision making at the front door.  This is an exciting opportunity to have real input in to the efficient and effective delivery of social care in a nationally leading local authority.

We believe that supporting emotional resilience is always important, but particularly so when you are working with families experiencing complex and challenging circumstances.  We will provide you with strong peer support, regular formal and informal supervision, group learning and team meetings. You will be further supported in your work through our excellent internal and external training learning offer including complimentary access to the Research in Practice, access to emotional wellbeing support/counselling.

Our practice model is Signs of Safety and this is underpinned by a commitment to restorative practice, meaning that you will practice in a way where the strengths of the family and their network are honoured, where families are encouraged to develop their own solutions and where plans are child centred with the voice of the child being at the heart.
