Do you want to make a real difference to your community using your legal skills?
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Commercial Property Lawyer to join our friendly and supportive Property Team within Legal Services Lincolnshire (LSL).
As a key member of our team, you'll provide high-quality legal advice and support on a broad range of matters to Lincolnshire County Council, district councils, and external public sector clients. Your work will be varied and rewarding – from supporting infrastructure projects and regeneration schemes to managing complex land acquisitions, leases, and sales.
What you'll be doing:
You'll take the lead on a busy and diverse caseload, including:
Commercial property transactions (sales, acquisitions, conditional contracts, options).
Landlord and tenant work (including both commercial and residential contexts).
Property-related aspects of academy conversions and school land issues.
Infrastructure agreements and joint working with commercial contract colleagues.
Supporting development and project-based work with cross-functional teams.

About you:
We're looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with:
A strong foundation in commercial property law.
Excellent drafting, advisory and communication skills.
The ability to manage your own caseload while working collaboratively in a team environment.
Ideally, some understanding of local government law – although this is not essential.
You'll need to be adaptable, solution-focused, and confident in providing legal advice to senior officers and stakeholders.
